About

Ravenwood Academy is an emerging nonprofit institution dedicated to the preservation and renewal of traditional knowledge.
We are building a living ecosystem of guilds, workshops, gardens, and studios where learning is hands-on, interdisciplinary, and rooted in cultural stewardship.
Our vision is to foster a sustainable community for heritage practices and lifelong learning, offering a refuge for meaningful study in an increasingly hurried and distracted world.
What We Are

Timeless Disciplines
Craft, philosophy, ecology, movement, and the written arts — taught through lived practice.
Guild-Based Learning
Communities of craft and inquiry where students work, create, and learn together.
A Living
Ecosystem
Workshops, gardens, and studios woven into daily life — a rhythm of stewardship and creativity.
Learners From All Backgrounds
Welcoming adults of varied ages, experiences, and disciplines into shared craft and study.
The Vision
Ravenwood exists to safeguard knowledge that is at risk of vanishing.
We aim to become a living center for heritage arts — a place where long-standing traditions are practiced, studied, and passed forward through lived experience.
Through our guilds, workshops, and future ambassador pathways, Ravenwood will steward rare crafts, partner with master artisans around the world, and prepare students to sustain disciplines that might otherwise disappear.

The Guilds
Guilds serve as both academic departments and living craft spaces.
Through this model, Ravenwood becomes a self-supporting ecosystem: each guild holds a tradition, develops mastery, and ensures that craft and creativity remain living practices rather than disappearing skills.
